Edward the Confessor

Edward was born in 1003. During Edward's youth, England was ruled by the Vikings. Then Edward began to form a great British army. Edward started the war against the Vikings and won these wars. In 1042 Edward expelled the entire Vikings from England. And Edward became king of England.

Edward's army was weakened by the wars against the Vikings. Edward was a peaceful politics until Britain regained his power. Edward made peace deals with Mercia and Northumria kingdoms. And Edward is allied with these countries.

In 1050 Edward once again strengthened the British army. Then he started a war against Edward Wales and Scotland. And Edward conquered many parts of Wales and Scotland

Edward is a very good Christian. And Edward encouraged all the people of England to be Christians. And it was proclaimed by the Pope as Edward Saint. The people of England then address Edward as Edward the Confessor. Edward died in 1066.
