Aigai

The city of Aigai was founded by the Aiol community in the 5th century BC. Aigai city is an important trading center. But Aigai was destroyed in 547 BC by the Persian Empire. In the 3rd century BC, the city of Aigai was rebuilt by the Pergamon kingdom. and until the 7th century, the city of Aigai continued to be an important city. But in the 7th century, the city of Aigai was abandoned because of the attacks of the Arabs. And to this day, very few works have survived from the city of Aigai.
