Eorl

Eorl was born in 2485 of the second age in Tolkein's middle earth. Eorl is the leader of the Eothoed people. In 2510, Orcs invaded Gondor. The steward of Gondor asked Eorl for help. And Eorl helped Gondor and expelled Orcs from the territory of Gondor. Then steward of Gondor gave Eorl land as a gift. And the people of Gondor called the state established on this land Rohan. And Eorl became the first Rohan king. Eorl passed away in 2545 of the second age.
