Looks like they've already started! TO be fair, they've only BEGUN digging as they state the process is too slow.
Why not just take all the statues you don't like and use them as a message for future generations, you know, so we don't make the same mistakes our past generations did!
I don't know if anyone is really erasing or rewriting history. I don't consider whether we prominently display the statues of Confederates who fought to break our country apart to be a mark of history. We can still teach history all the same, but we don't have to glorify people who sought to tear the country apart.
Those statues could be in museums. That is the proper place for them. Heck, even Robert E. Lee himself didn't think those statues should be there.
But don't destroy them
I saw one of the State Sponsored News shows referring to one side as 'Peaceful Protesters' LOL wearing Helmets, Body Armor, carrying Shields and Ball Bats. They must think we are all stupid.
What you are witnessing is the destruction of a nation while those who live there refuse to wake up and see the impact of the destruction.
While it may not be important to some, those children of the next generation will only know what they see before them.
You are throwing away history in order to make a few people happy, who will Never Be Happy!
Even if you do not want to accept the past, doesn't mean it didn't happen, those statues and remnants of the past are there as a reminder of how things could be again, as you should know History has a habit of Repeating Itself!

I actually despise George Orwell for writing 1984. It's like the man gave the powerful a blueprint for domination, while the masses treat the realities as coincidence! Why are we not like.. FREAKING THE FUCK OUT! 😂 Fixing this reality will be a painstaking process.
