Dear Steemians,

I present today the Royal Palace in Balchik - Part III

The buildings on the area of the Royal Palace in Balchik were entirely created according to the plans and tastes of Queen Maria.

* The bridge of stone called the Bridge of Sighs, the one you have to cross with your eyes closed to fulfill your desire.

* The silver fountain is at a fairly small entrance, slightly to the left. If you throw a banter and you make a wish it will be fulfilled. At least that's what the legend says...

* The Lane of the Wine

Those who like wine, but not only, will taste different varieties of wine.

Here is a collection of wines of various varieties, many of the bottles being put up for sale.

* The youngest son of Queen Maria was baptized Mircea, but the Prince died at age 14 only ...

The statue of Mircea is that of a young soldier. This statue is the only male figure in the Balchik Palace.

* The divine garden

The water from the dart (in the far side of the picture) flows into a water mirror.

On both sides of the small water channel rises eternally green cypress trees. In Christianity, cypress symbolizes eternal life. This tree grows in the divine garden of Eden.

In the shade of cypress trees, on the edge of each alley, a lot of cherry trees, cherry trees, apricots, apples and others grew. The smell of blooming spring trees and the sweetness of their fruit filled the beatitude during the walk through the park. Source

* "The Garden of Allah" connects the Silver Fountain with Villa Blue arrow .

The garden hosts a unique collection of outdoor cacti, in fact the largest collection in South East Europe. There are cacti planted 80 years ago, transformed into trees.In August, I am in the blooming period and you can see it with flowers. In this garden can also be seen ancient vessels, stone benches and slender cypress trees.
