CONTAMINATED FOOD...HOW WE GOT HERE

There is an interesting history of the destruction of the farm lands. In the Midwest of the US the Great Plains were very thick with 6 ft of topsoil in some areas. After WWII the US government didn't know what to do with the bomb factories. Teams of scientists were organized and they calculated that since ammonium nitrate makes bombs and it also makes fertilizer to turn all the bomb factories into fertilizer factories. This is true history.

They then sold the artificial fertilizer to the farmers. It made everything very, very green but there were problems. Animals that grazed on the fertilized land were not able to reproduce. The scientists met again and came up with hormones. They didn't stop the ammonium nitrate. They just added hormones to the animals' food.

This was the beginning of all the artificial chemicals and hormones and pesticides etc. Now there are hundreds and thousands of these chemicals interacting with each other in the food supply. The rich top soil is gone from misuse of the land. The foods are deficient in real nutrition and loaded with poisons. This is how civilizations end. Starvation.
