Howdy Butterfly! sorry to make you sad, I thought maybe you'd be toughened up by this time.. this things aren't supposed to bother you. I don't even know if it bothered Hermann at that point. He might have been disgusted by the white man ways even though he was one!
This kind of stuff will never toughen me up. Hermann must have been so torn between the Indians and the white men since he is both now.
