Russian samovar and English bouillotte | Самовар и бульетка

The Museum of history of Tomsk hosted an exhibition of samovars.

В музее истории города Томска работает выставка самоваров.

The exhibition presents samovars of the late 19th - early 20th century. Also present at the exhibition is a bouillotte produced in England in the early 20th century. Residents of Siberian cities in the last century boiled water for tea in bulky samovars in the kitchen, then the boiling water was poured into the bouillotte and put the device on the table for tea. During a long tea party the water was heated with an alcohol burner.

В экспозиции представлены самовары конца 19 - начала 20 века. Также на выставке присутствует бульотка, произведенная в Англии в начале 20 века. Жители сибирских городов в прошлом веке кипятили воду для чая в громоздких самоварах на кухне, затем кипящую воду заливали в бульотку и ставили прибор на стол для чаепития. Во время долгого чаепития воду в бульетке подогревали с помощью спиртовой горелки, поддерживая кипяток.
