The nature of Easter

Easter

Easter is the most major Christian holiday. The holiday is mainly about demonstrating to the world that death itself is not final. There are three well known stories in the Bible (the stories of Jesus himself, Lazarus, and Saul/Samuel) of people being heard from after their deaths, but Saul and Samuel were many generations back from the time of Jesus and, on the day Jesus was born, it had been a number of centuries since the last previous time anybody had been heard from after death, so that people were becoming atheists and evolutionites.

Jesus set about to fix the problem in a perfectly logical manner by allowing Romans to kill him in their usual gruesome and highly public manner and, then as per prior claim, returning to be seen in some form or other by large numbers of people. The effect was such that all 11 of his disciples willingly went to their (painful) deaths rather than deny what they had seen and nobody has ever come up with a theory as to how that could have happened unless the story was simply true.

Now, of course, if you want real dead bodies walking around, the religion you need is Voodoo, so the question arises as to what exactly the people had seen. I have described what I view as at least a partial answer to that:

You have to go back a ways into history for the partial answer. The document describes what ancient Egyptians called "Ka", which was the main idea of their religion. They viewed dying much as we would view moving from Victoria to Houston; it didn't mean you weren't going to see the person again, it just meant you wouldn't see him as often. In other words, if you go back far enough in time, then (according to literature of those ages at least) hearing from somebody who had died was not viewed as totally common, but it was not viewed as rare either.

Witnesses to these events had basically taken one or two steps into some larger dimension of reality; sort of like an engineering student who, having read all the engineering math books at his school, were to open a book on complex variables for the first time. Again, in the intervening time between the Egyptian Old Kingdom and the time of Christ, the ability of the planet itself to support that sort of thing had been lost and people were becoming atheists.

The sections of the pdf file you'd want to read are the sections on telepathy and the notion of "Ka".

Happy Easter!
