Introducing : ''Hellenic Mythology''_Part 1 ''The genesis of the world''

Finally I have the time to start my new series about Hellenic mythology and post about how the ancients Hellenes interpret everything with Myths .
In the 1st post I 'll start with the ''Geneis" .

According to Hesiod's Theogony, all started with the Chaos which is selfborned like Gaia(Earth) and Eros!
From Chaos , Erebus and Night were born and Gaia gave birth to Thalassa(Sea) and Ouranos(Sky) who was as big as Gaia and could hug her with his arms.

Erebus and Night gave birth to Ether(Air) and Day.
Gaia then gave birth to Mountains and Pontos . After that she gave some of her power to Ouranos and with him ,they gave birth to the 12 Titans, Cyclopes and to Ekatoghires(100hands holders).
The Titans were:
Oceanus(Ocean), Koios, Kreios, Theia, Tithys, Kronos(Saturn), Rea, Mnymosini, Iapetus, Hyperion, Phoebe, Themis.

And here starts the game of who will have the Power on all !

Ouranos liked the power he had and didn't want to give it away to his children . For that he throw them all to Tartara deep inside Earth. Gaia was mad about this action of his and at some point she made a huge sickle to give it to her children and with this to fight their father . But none had the courage to do so except Kronos . The last born of the Titans !
When Ouranos fell asleep , Kronos took the sickle and cut off his father's penis. From the blood drops that fell on the ground were born the three Erinnyes, the Giants, the Nymphs and also the demons of revenge and violence. Sperm fell into Thalassa and goddess Aphrodite was born.

As said, Kronos was the youngest of the Titans but he was the most cunning and ambitious of all !
He married his sister Titan Rea and together they gave birth to 6 gods :
Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Dimitra, Plouton, Estia.

Kronos, like his father was afraid of losing the power and for that he swallowed all first 5 children Rea gave birth, until she decided to hide the 6th one, Zeus and give a covered stone to Kronos to swallow instead.

Zeus was hidden in Idis mountain of Crete island and was raised by a goat named Amaltheia . There were Kourites soldiers yelling , dancing and hitting their spears and shields in order Kronos not to hear the baby Zeus's cries and find him.
