Morgan Robertson. The writer who described the sinking of the Titanic.

Morgan Robertson(1861 -- 1915) is probably the most controversial soothsayer of future events.

In 1898 he published the novel "Futility", which has not gained popularity. It described the adventures of John Rowland on the largest ship called "Titan".

In the novel the ship is wrecked. And many people die. Therefore, this work was and forgot about it.

But in April 1912, suffers shipwreck of the Titanic, the largest ship of that time.
Remember about the novel and its re-release, but already under other name "Futility, or the death of a Titan".

In fact, the similarity of the novel and the events of what happened in reality not too many, but they are essential.

Technical characteristics of the ships are virtually identical. Almost identical name. Guessed and cause of death. And the number of the dead is near.
The author died three years after the death of "Titanic." But managed to get a lot of emails with curses from relatives of the victims.

None of his subsequent work was not so popular about them, just forgot.

What was it? The gift of a seer, or a large scheme that would capitalize on the release of the book?
It's hard to say. But if he really predicted everything, then again it is worth considering, maybe it was a time machine, which was used by writers?

This is funny, to 100th anniversary of the tragic event I have written a small article about the same thing. There are things in life we can't really explain and that is ok. Therefore the word miracle.
