To start this little excursion into the past want with Henry Ford.

Ford realized that the issue of cheap car will give you more profit. And probably started with myself.
And the car went to mass.
But it was used as a means of transportation, not only ordinary people.
Was the car of Emperor Nicholas II. With a tricky title "Delaunay-Belleville". And quite familiar Mercedes.

The car the Emperor was with the right wheel. I do not know why.
It is impossible not to think about Leonid Brezhnev. His passion in cars was well known. Perhaps one of the first imported cars in his collection is "Opel" presented in 1960.

Later in his life there were a lot of cars. But this remains one of favorites.
For me it was a surprise photo of Yuri Gagarin with a sports car.

This machine was given to him in 1965 in France. Auto is of course a French production called "Matra, Bonnet".
Everyone remembers the famous film by Leonid Gaidai, "prisoner of the Caucasus". The car that kidnapped the girl.

It was the personal car of Yury Nikulin "Adler Trumpf" made in Germany. By the way the number on the machine was real.

You do not have the right not to mention Vladimir Vysotsky and his car type "Mercedes".

These cars were very rare in those days. Traffic cops just in case saluted when they saw this Mercedes on the road.
And complete want of course a car of bill gates.
