Remains of a lost country(Russians in NE China)

After the revolution of 1917 and the ensuing civil war, many residents of the former Russian empire emigrated to various neighboring countries.As a rule, a lot of materials from various immigration groups in Western Europe,North and Latin America, but know very little about the Russian emigration to northeastern China.already literally at the beginning of 1918, considering the ongoing World War I, the front that took place in the west of Russia and the beginning of unrest in major cities such as Petrograd and Moscow, many people boarded the train to the east of Russia, where they were considered to be calm and safe.After final setting Soviet authority on Far East Russia, occurring in 1922 year bulk of fighting against setting communist regime in country, crossed border and remained in North-Еast Сhina.

After establishment Communist regime in North East China in 1947 year (certainly same with help of Army of Soviet Union, recently defeating here Japanese military) all documents on russian emigration in china were delivered in my city of Khabarovsk, where a now are stored in state archive of Khabarovsk territory. The only place where completely may learn all history of russian emigration in China.

In end 19 century Russian and Chinese empire concluded an contract on which Russia received law on building railroad from border in area of Mongolia/China/Russia to coast of Yellow sea.
This railroad received name Chinese Eastern railway -or "К.В.Ж.Д" in Russian.
