In the homeland of the most famous Russian salad.
The most famous salad in Russia which is mainly prepared for the New Year holidays is the Olivier salad.
The place of invention and creation of this salad is the Hermitage restaurant known in the beginning of the 20th century in Moscow.
I present you the menu from the restaurant from October 1911.
On the side of the menu are paintings of famous Architects who were invited to a dinner dedicated to the creative anniversary of one of the artists of those years.
