This is very interesting to read. i think those who were born with the refrigerator in the house, don't really think about the evolution. I know a few stories as mY great grandfather had a dairy, they were making butter and were using ice cubes to transport butter in other cities and my dad still has an old fridge that is like a cupboard with an icebox in the bottom.
