And he start production

But the deals comes with the catch.
Walker want to upgrade his revolver instead of 5 shots he wants 6, & more power to kill.

But for this large order he needs help, he need barrel from Daniel Wesson.
This how Wesson enter in revolver business.

& Born a 44 caliber revolver named the walker. After the man who made it happen

And U.S. government purchase 1000 revolver & his business run again. In 1848 colt made another revolver dragon.

Wesson also working on his own revolver.
Sameul colt patent is about to expire & Wesson brother are planning to launch their own revolver.
Colt fight back, he extend his patent. Wesson were devastated.
With colt patent on his hand, Wessen has to with come with new idea.
Then Daniel Wesson meets a man Horace Smith.

In order to fire a lead ball, Colt Revolver ingnite black powder by striking a precusion cap. 3 separates pieces to fire a bullet.

Daniel wesson came an idea to make it one.

Soon after Smith & Wesson company formed & colt patent finally expired.

Now Smith & Wesson release their new revolver.

In 1850, rise of civil war in America, Colt supply his gun to Southern. A norhtern Supply gun to Southern.
This makes colt a traiter.

On the other hand Smith & Wesson stop his sales to South.

At the age of 47 colt died leaving his whole empire Elizabeth.

2 years lates Colt’s factory burned to the ground no one know how.

But Elizabeth misfortune gives Smith & Wesson new oppourtinuty. They were in market with new model and better design.
