The American Revolution: The beginning of power
The American democracy is based on the principle and the idea of control and accountability by the State to its citizens, what we call "Check and Balance", the argument used was that the population should have full knowledge of what the State do.

Another regulatory principle under which the United States of America is based on federalism, the autonomy of each State that makes up the Union, where each State is totally free to make its decisions without interference from the Federal Government, under the argument that the less the influence the Federal Government had in the States, the better and more efficient would be the government at all its levels. Freedom was another of the fundamental principles; the more free the individual was, the better the functioning of society would be. The principle of freedom came from the illustration, where different authors defend individual freedom over collective freedom.

The four main founding fathers of the United States of America contributed from their profession; George Washington was a military man, John Adams was a lawyer, Benjamin Franklin was a scientist, and Thomas Jefferson was a humanist; this serves in part to understand the difference between the United States and the Latin American countries, while Latin America was independent only by the military, in the United States there were different professionals influenced by the Enlightenment and not by the thirst for power of the Latin American founding fathers.
