5 Secrets of Ancient Egypt, which you did not know

For some people the Egyptian pyramids are no more than a tourist destination. However, scientists still explains the new and intriguing things that cause even more secrets. Here are some of them ancient Egyptian mysteries.

Secret rooms Cheops or the Great Pyramid of Giza.
1993 robot Upuaut 2 discovered the small door in the southern shaft of the pyramid, behind which was later found an empty space and another door. In 2010, a modernized robot "Djed" photographed image for the first door. The picture shows the copper handles and red ocher paintings. In addition, although no one shaft visited 9 years, on the walls and ceiling appeared fresh scrapes.

Chemist Joseph Davidovit claims that the blocks were built directly on top of the other one, and this may explain their weight and the lack of space between them. However, geologists and paleontologists contradicts the claim that units were reinforced rocks, and if this is true, it is contradicted by Mr Davidovits theory. There is only a hypothesis.

The Curse of Tutankhamen's tomb.
Researching the tomb in 1922, Howard Carter, found a card with the text of a terrible punishment for those who open a sealed tomb. H. Carter did not believe, but by 1930, 22 people died, took part in the expedition, when the tomb was opened. So far there is no approved "curse" explanation. There is only one theory about the fact that on the tomb walls and the sarcophagus was left very strong poison.
