in #history7 years ago

I felt I should write on this very place where I live, a very significant place in Nigeria.
"BADAGRY TOWN"
Badagry was Founded in the late 1720s by Popo refugees from the wars with the Fon people of Dahomey, A British trading post was also established there in the 1820s,
It is a town that shows the relationship between nigeria and europe. It was the slave port for the europeans were they come in a make slave trades.apparently that is what badagry is been known for.
But as we speak now Badagry has been a major tourist region were people come from all over the world to have a deep knowledge about the town.
