The Doomsday Clock is ticking...

Do you know the Doomsday clock? No, I will not ask you to repent or die, and this is not another conspiracy theory post.

The Doomsday Clock from the real world exists and is maintained by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

And it is Two and a half minutes to midnight...

It changes according to the risks of human made actions to destroy the entire civilization. And guess what? We are in the second most critical "ticking point" since the clock was envisioned back in the 50's in the high Cold War times.

According to the Bulletin, the Doomsday clock is: " ... an internationally recognized design that conveys how close we are to destroying our civilization with dangerous technologies of our own making. First and foremost among these are nuclear weapons, but the dangers include climate-changing technologies, emerging biotechnologies, and cybertechnology that could inflict irrevocable harm, whether by intention, miscalculation, or by accident, to our way of life and to the planet."
