In Olive Hill Kentucky there is a lot of history from coal mines to brick making.
A lot of the older buildings are in desperate need to be repaired or completely remodeled.

I'm posting this blog about Fort Underwood because I have made a few new friends here in Olive Hill and I want to help get funding to completely restore the house. It belongs to a friend of mine and his family. His name is James and the property has been in his family since the 1800's.

James would like to see the house as it once was in it's prime. He estimates the cost of breathing life back in the property could be as much as $50,000. Nearly every board and nail would need to be replaced. There will be a lot of hard work put in to bringing it back to it's glorious state from it's past.

I will have a GoFundMe account ready to support James's cause soon and I will post it in the comments section of this blog. If you would like to more information on James and Fort Underwood then feel free to contact me here as well. Any help with funds are appreciated.

I will be posting an update on the status of our plans as we go along with process of getting funding, experienced carpenters, and materials.
