Bitten to death by the dead! - a Nineteenth Century True story!

in #history8 years ago

No; this is not a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE tale of the doomed

This is more the tale of KARMA'S RETRIBUTION

a Nineteenth Centenary Norse Earl of Orkney known as Sigurd the Mighty, was bitten to death by the very same man whom he had decapitated earlier that very same day.

The earl had planned to take a trophy in the form of his decapitated enemies head, back to his village, and tied the head to his horses saddle. However during his travel home, one of the protruding teeth on this unusual bobble head managed to find its way to the leg of Sigurd grazing him enough to cause the infection that led directly to his death.

Nice story and a very unusual and unfortunate way to die. Another Skull bites the dust. Thanks for sharing. Upvoted
