RE: There Was More to the Civil War than Slavery & If People Knew This Things Wouldn't Be So Hectic Between Folks in USA

On another note @paigemoore - I was just checking out your account and I could not find a "introduceyourself" post.
If I missed or you have not done one, you should really consider doing one -
...the obligatory picture holding up a piece of paper with your account name and date. You will get loads more followers. You make good content and as such you add value to the Steemit community. Let people know about you.
Just a thought.

thanx...i am going to do that, but i wanted to get a feel to see just how open i should be... people scare me more than demons do, but i am trying

Almost everyone who joins Steemit is like at at the beginning. It is because we have all had distasteful or damn right nasty experiences on the web. May be on Facebook or some other social media platform. I was like that too. (did you know Steemit members (Steemians) call Facebook "FakeBook"?

Very quickly I discovered that there was nothing to be scared of here on Steemit.
People are much more open and friendly. Im not sure why, but it is as though people come here on Steemit as a last chance to find somewhere descent on the web. Many come for the money and soon discover there is so much more than that. Well I am sure you will also discover those things too.

much healing energy is here and healing the soul is a key to gaining our Divinity... i hope most others are like you because my hope is renewed after a few days here...Blessed Be )O(

I say again; welcome to Steemit @paigemoore.
This is what I experienced too when I first joined. I also had my fading hope renewed.
Remember, keep your content standard high and people will appreciate it.
The reason is because quality original contend adds value to the Steemit platform. And as the value of steemit goes up, so does the price of steem. And as the price of steem foes up so does the value of our upvotes. Everyone wins.
On fakebook and other media platforms all the money and the glory goes to just a handful of those at the top.
Think about it paige... what makes Fakebook stock-market shares so valuable. Why is Fakebook worth billions? It is because of all the people adding "their" content. Every click of a "like" adds value to Fakebook. But do all these billions of Fakebook members get anything? No. Not a dime.
The blockchain is all about giving this power to the many. It is nothing short of a revolution in money sharing.
All those who joined Steemit early on, like yourself, will find themselves very rich in about 5 to 7 years time. It is rather like you bought shares in Fakebook when it fist started. It took 7 years for Fakebook to make a profit. It is literally jus the beginning. But OK so we will all be rich. But what does that mean exactly? Should we then become self indulgent selfish arse-holes like the tip 1% are today?
Not me, I want to help others "shine" and be part of the new evolving consciousness of the new caring world of tomorrow.
With great wealth comes great responsibility - The old rich knew this but the new rich have forgotten and don´t care. They just think it is their right to have the money and the rest of us deserve to struggle. This has to change and blockchain technology is going to do this. All we have to do is support each other and everyone wins.

yeppers... so excited...i have loads of goode content and some more stuff ready to write from notes....people usually don't read my blogs so i happy...i just do it for fun and stimulation of my brain & the energy we put out echos...i see spider web echoing...but we do all see different

i will be honest because lies dirty the soul... i can tell that i have more content than some blogs ;) thanx for the encouragement as i usually make people uncomfortable with my racing mind
