Hey @themadgoat thank you for such interesting historical event review. It seems discovery of Hawaii for European was like discovering paradise, tropical island with amazing nature and crystal clear water, exotic population, being friendly and open. Sometimes we forget that we are only guests on someones's party and behave ourselves not like we should and that is the example. You presented everything in your post in such easy reading way, you know how sometimes it is difficult to concentrate during school's history lesson, but I believe it will be not the case in this case :)
