Another Brick out of The Berlin Wall 🇩🇪❌ 1990 The Wall Live in Berlin 🎶
On July 21, 1990, Roger Waters met with a large number of invited artists and performed the "Wall" by Pink Floyd as the celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall eight months earlier. Together with the creator of the show Roger Waters, the performers were invited guests, including: Scorpions, Ute Lemper, Cyndi Lauper, Sinéad O'Connor, Joni Mitchell, Bryan Adams, and Van Morrison 🔝🔝🔝🎶🎤🎶 Everything in this concert was exceptional. It happened on the death belt between two countries, West and East Germany. For the first time, Roger Waters played The Wall after he left Pink Floyd. The show was based on music from the album The Wall and it was pacifist and charity and was broadcast by satellite to 35 countries (live concert was also shown in Poland). At that time, it was a world record for fans of sales in a concert with over 350,000 people. Income from the event and subsequent recordings was donated to the World War Memorial Fund for Disaster Relief. A live album of the concert was released 21 August 1990. A video of the concert was also commercially released 💿📀

21 lipca 1990 r. Roger Waters spotkał się z dużą liczbą zaproszonych artystów i wykonał "Wall" grupy Pink Floyd jako wyraz świętowania upadku muru berlińskiego osiem miesięcy wcześniej. Wraz z twórcą spektaklu Roger'em Waters'em, wielu innych artystów było zaproszonymi gośćmi, w tym: zespół Scorpions, Ute Lemper, Cyndi Lauper, Sinéad O'Connor, Joni Mitchell, Bryan Adams i Van Morrison 🔝🔝🔝🎶🎤🎶 Wszystko na tym koncercie było wyjątkowe. Odbywał się on w pasie dotychczas dzielącym dwa kraje - Zachodnie i Wschodnie Niemcy. Dodatkowo po raz pierwszy Roger Waters zagrał The Wall po tym, jak opuścił Pink Floyd. Spektakl powstał na podstawie muzyki z płyty The Wall, miał charakter pacyfistyczny i charytatywny i był transmitowany przez satelitę do 35 krajów (koncert na żywo był również pokazywany w Polsce). W tym czasie był rekordem światowym sprzedaży biletów dla fanów, ponieważ na koncercie było prawdopodobnie ponad 350 000 osób. Dochód z imprezy i kolejnych nagrań został przekazany na fundusz pomocy World War Memorial Fund for Disaster Relief. Album koncertowy koncertu został wydany 21 sierpnia 1990 roku. Film z koncertu również został wydany komercyjnie 💿📀
