Ekushey February with the International Mother Language Day, the relation between the language movement of Bangladesh and the people of the world is still unaware of it. Even though the day is observed for 18 years, there is no mention of the history of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Affairs Organization (UNESCO) on the backdrop of the day and the martyrs of language movement. The link to the language movement in the United Nations website in just one sentence is said.

On 17 November 1999, the International Mother Language Day was acknowledged by Ekushey February 188 member states of UNESCO voting. Since 2000, the UN member states are celebrating Rafiq, Salam, Barkat's self-sacrifice, without knowing it.
Experience in exile
Global ignorance about the contribution of the language movement of Bangladesh to the backdrop of the International Mother Language Day has given many a great deal of pain. They are surprised at the fact that Bangladeshis living abroad or those who have gone abroad for study abroad.

He sent an e-mail to the United Nations and UNESCO through his initiative and sent various information. On the night of February 14, the United Nations web team told him in an e-mail, some information was added to the official webpage of the United Nations.
If this information is added to the new language, it means that, on February 21, the election was held in conjunction with Language Movement Day, which is one of the co-sponsors of this resolution. The United Nations General Assembly welcomed the announcement of this day in the 2002 resolution.
Responsibility of Mother Language Institute
In the continuation of International Mother Language Day, International Mother Language Institute has been created in Dhaka. In the presence of the Secretary-General Kofi Annan on 15 March 2001, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone of International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha. It started its activities in 2010. There is no information on the mother language institute website too.

When asked about it on 15th February, in the presence of the reporter, UNESCO talked to the head of the Dhaka office's chief battery, Kaldun, about the matter.
