OLDSKOOL HIPHOP #2 - Erule "Listen Up"

This gem is one of my all time favorites. It came out in 1994.


Erule is a rapper from Chicago whose 1994 single Listen Up/Synopsis is considered a hip hop classic and collector’s item. In 2002 he released his debut album Cold Currentz featuring the single “One Rule”.


You might recognize the famous sample they used. It's from a Roy Ayers track, "Everybody loves the sunshine".
