44th hip hop by Google doodle

Last week Google just launch their hip hop Doodle, and this Doodle is celebrating the 44th year of this culture.

When I saw it, i super excited to check it out since it is the culture that I love the most.

Lets check it out what inside the doodle. Note to everyone, all photo shown is screenshot from Google. So no doubt all this copyright is own by Google.

First, you will see the Google wording is inspired by one of hip hop culture which is Graffiti. Graffiti is a form of art that using to tell the world their anger, their desire, their struggle at that time. And now this art form is more appreciated and recognised around the world.

Then next few photos will introduce how Doodle team explore this culture and make it to in front our eyes:

Next it will comes to storytelling. It is very brief but on point and you will know some of the key person that having very big contribution in this culture.

This three screenshot showing that the most important person that contribute to breakbeat is DJ Kool Herc. What is breakbeat? Breakbeat is actually a certain beat that Dj using to loop it so that it can become longer and bboy can dance longer. And people that discover this mixing is DJ Kool Herc. Without him, we dont really know what is hip hop nowadays.

What is breakbeat? Lets listen to link below the mix by DJ Fleg, one of the well known DJ in this era.

Hip Hop is covered by 4 element, which is DJ, Bboy, MC and graffiti. In above part we already touch about three section. Now another one that we will talk about is MC.

MC or master of ceremony, basically will help DJ to hype up the party and all the rhyme is made on the spot. Because of MC, that is the revolution of rhyme to rap music nowadays. So all this 4 element is cannot be apart and they are the essential of the birth of hip hop.
