Ready mix concrete process
We are currently constructing an apartment building in the Pothanur area of Coimbatore, and work has reached the roof level. We ordered ready-mix concrete for the roof casting and arranged for its delivery through a supplier.
The concrete was transported in three tanker trucks, and a pumping machine was brought in to deliver the mix to the roof level. This operation took place yesterday and lasted approximately seven hours. I recorded the process on video and am happy to share it with you; it illustrates how the concrete is transferred from the tankers and pumped up to the roof for casting.
Using ready-mix concrete not only ensures high-quality concrete but also reduces the workload and the need for manpower. While preparing concrete in the traditional way used to require at least 20 to 25 workers, the job can now be completed with just 4 or 5 people, and the work proceeds much faster.
