The diary game. A Day of Routine, Work, and Unexpected Outings

Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

Today, again, as part of my habit, I got up early without wasting much time in bed. I escaped the warmth of my blanket and went straight to purify myself by performing ablution, then went to the mosque for prayers. As such, I started my day with gratitude to the Almighty for all that He has blessed me with. Upon finishing the prayers, I made supplications and then headed back home. As usual, I did some gardening for a while and then went for a walk toward a nearby village along the newly metalled road. A lot of people could be seen jogging and burning fat along the road, and that’s what keeps me motivated to go for a walk every day. I am quite conscious about my health and usually care about the number of calories I take in and the amount I burn daily.

After doing some jogging for a while, I returned home and joined my parents in the dining room, where they were already waiting for me. Upon finishing breakfast, I got ready for the office, but just as I was about to leave, I received a call from my colleague with whom I’ve been deputed for the digitalization of revenue records. He informed me that he had to be present in court for proceedings related to the revenue department and asked me to stay home since my presence at the office wouldn’t be required. I informed the office officials and submitted a leave application via WhatsApp, which was approved quickly, allowing me to stay home without worry.

Around 12 PM, my friend called and asked me to accompany him to buy some items for his brother’s wedding, which is scheduled for later this week. I couldn’t refuse and quickly finished a few remaining tasks at home. After lunch, around 2 PM, I left, and my friend joined me midway. We headed toward Srinagar city and bought the necessary items for the wedding. It wasn’t tiring as we managed to find everything in one large market. We did a great job completing all the shopping in a single day, thanks to not wasting time searching for discounts. All the items were worth the price.

Later, we went to a famous restaurant, Amigos, known for its pizzas, and ordered their special one. It was quite tasty, but I agreed that eating too much could trouble me as I had been feeling unwell for a couple of days. However, since we were hungry, we ate most of it, leaving a few slices to be packed. Unfortunately, we forgot to collect the packed pizza when leaving. From the restaurant, we headed toward home but stopped at a shop where we usually buy some more things, spending a bit over a hundred dollars there.

When we reached Chadoora, my friend’s brother came with his car, and we shifted all the purchased items into it so he could take them home, while I headed toward my place. It was already around 9 PM when I reached home. After taking some rest, my mother called me for dinner, but I couldn’t eat much since we had eaten pizza earlier. Later, around 10:30 PM, I came to my room to sleep and decided to share this story. It was all about my day.
