Nanda devi

Nanda Devi is the second highest mountain in India, standing at an elevation of 7,816 meters (25,643 feet). It is located in the Garhwal Himalayas in the state of Uttarakhand. In 1983, the Indian government restricted access to the region to preserve its fragile ecosystem.
