Before & After The Wildfires - Hiking with Zainenn
In this HwZ 135, I bring you with me as I hike to the mountain peak. I travel through scorched Earth and show you 'Before' and 'After' imagery. This was a difficult hike, not only because, well, it just is a tough hike. Also, it is unrecognizable. It is a skeleton of what it once was. I have hiked this trail 100's of times over the years and have gotten to know the animals at the peak. The only animals left are birds. The Raven couple is still around, but their nest has burned down, for those who have seen my past hiking videos.
Even though the land has been devastated I revel in how beautiful it still is. It may be an 10 minute video, I have already watched it 3 x before uploading. Thank you for Hangin with Zainenn!

Yea buddy you can clearly see how the road acted like a barrier in the one spot by your car.... your right beautiful in its own way with that amazing view. Hopefully a once in a lifetime experience 🙏

It is awesome to see the start of the growth coming back. It is amazing how resilient nature is. It's amazing that the fires didn't go any further. It's kind of like your peak protected your home. Take care.
What a beautifully made video of a bleeding nature. So much emotion in this story. Can't imagine how it had to feel like living so close to the fire! But nature always finds strength to regrow :) Thanks for sharing Zainenn! Resteeming this!
