Two is Better Than One 🤩
Just a little bit more before reaching the top of Janggut Hill
Didn't expect to hike two different hills today but we did.
We started quite late actually. Despite had a huge miscommunication about which hill we should go - Botak or Janggut Hill, turns out that we managed to hike both hills without any complication. Lol.
I have to admit, the first hill was quite tiring for me. At one point, I thought I should just do one hill instead of two. Gratefully, @lauratommy convinced us that we can and for the sake of pushing myself to the limits (and thinking that I need to do this as part of my preparation for our journey to conquer Mount Kinabalu), I said yes.
And so we did. Lucky for us, the distance from Janggut Hill to Botak Hill is less than 5 minutes drive. When we reached there, it was already 5:51 pm.
Surprisingly, it took us less than 30 minutes to get to the top. I kept telling @lauratommy and @ztulip that probably I had some sort of a 'drug' to keep me going and giving me that energy. Haha. Although we missed the sun sets, still the view from the top is rewarding.
Almost there - Botak Hill
We wanted to stay a bit longer and enjoy the view more but the time is catching us up. We need to down as fast as we can before it gets dark. Halfway down the hill, the three of us have to switch on our phone's flashlight for safety. That gives us a thought that it is essential to always keep one flashlight in our bag just in case we encounter that kind of situation in the future.
Overall, we are happy with our accomplishment.
This could be our new hobby not because we have to but we want to and enjoy doing it 😊.
