5 STEEM for the right answer and 5 STEEM to the most original wrong answer

Sunday morning, new year has begun and it's time for some new hiking tops to reach. Since we have a lot of snow in our mountains, me and @darth.gizmo decided to check some lower hills. I must admit, that the day started awful. It was rainy, unusually warm and we had an hour drive to the starting point. At least we should have an hour drive ... Sadly we were apparently talking so vigorously about the new year and this years hiking plans, that we missed the right road. And after an hour of driving realized that we have a good half an hour to go. How in the ... ?? Yeah we should turn to the side road 20 kilometers ago. Better late than never i guess, we turned around and set our google maps to guide us, so we don't miss it again. Finally with 30 minutes delay we reach our starting point. Empty parking lot suggested that there won't be many hikers today. We changed our boots and ... it started to rain. The weather forecast wasn't too good, but it was supposed to be clear with clouds. We saw a nice small cozy bar just next to the parking lot. Inside there was a young cute waitress and 6 men leaning at the counter top, drinking bear or whisky. It was 9:30 in the morning?! We latter realized that they were still "out" from yesterdays concert that was near by =)

The rain stopped almost completely so it was time to take our short hike. We had a plan to take this one, get back down and take another hill next to it, but with 2 major delays we were already too late and we had no idea, that 2 delays more are waiting ahead of us.

Sights like this one are very common this time of the year in the forest. If you look closely to the left branch, there is a step cut into the fallen tree

Excellent use of an old asphalt

Why dump it if you can reuse it to cover a slippery path?

The path was well tagged and we reached the top in less than an hour. But there is nothing at the top except a lot of thick fog! We couldn't see 10 m in front of us. But, because we are collecting some hiking stamps we wanted to find a small chapel where the stamp was supposed to be. The instructions were: "Just cross the grass fields and you should see the chapel from the distance". Awesome tip, that probably works just fine - on a sunny day without the fog =).

Finally - grass fields!

After we found the grass fields, yes even this was a challenge, we tried to cross it. But in which direction?! Soon we found an arrow pointing in the direction of a stamp. Thank god a clue! We walked in that direction for few minutes, but there was no sign of a chapel, no signs for direction, just grass and fog. I thought to myself ... good move that i turned my gps on at the start of the track. Maybe we'll need it to get back =). We stopped for a bit, checked the instructions and on a photo of the chapel, there was a high voltage power line tower near by. We should have seen one of those!? They are huge. We decided to find it and we had luck.

Never imagined that I'll be so happy to see one of these

But there was no chapel. So we had to decide go upwards or downwards. As you can guess, we picked the wrong direction, had to turn back and walk in the opposite direction to eventually find the chapel with a stamp.

DSC01190.jpg

What is that!?

DSC01191.jpg

Is this ... a chapel?

DSC01192.jpg

It is!! Finally ...

But the biggest surprise was still ahead of us. Next to the chapel there was a small man made "wooden house". I've never seen one of these before?! The fog and light rain suddenly lost my attention - this was the main attraction for the moment. What is inside? Are the wooden doors locked? They are not and inside it is ... Now we come to the reward time!

I'll reward the first one who guess correctly what is inside and i will also reward the one who will give the most fun/awesome wrong guess! =)

What is in it?

What do these doors hide?

Both rewards will be paid at the 7 days payout period of this post. To apply for the reward, upvote this post and guess what's inside in the comments bellow. I'll post the reward winners and photos of the interior 7 days after this post.

Anyway loosing a lot of time, searching for the stamp, we decided to get down as soon as possible. The path we took to the top was really wet, and slippery and it wouldn't be much of fun to go down. So we took the other path which should lead us straight to the car ... If only we didn't follow the wrong path and ended walking few kilometers on the road, to get back :) But it was a really fun day. We didn't walk to the next top, but at least the hiking season was opened.

I think that's a hive so there are bees and hooney.

A punch clock, so the rangers can prove that they really went to that location.

Given the location my best bet is a boggart of some description lives inside, I may be wrong and it is simply where the local Gnome lives but it looks a more classic build in my opinion. Or it may be a house to some other member of the Fay folk. Just like in Wayford woods http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-30687171

Brandy stash so hikers can warm them selfs up while hiking.
