On my recent hike over the weekend I went to an really enchanting place in central Taiwan, somewhere that I've been wanting to go for ages. There isn't an official English name for it but it roughly translates to Forget Your Worries Forrest. Here's glimpse of it.
I started off my hike at 1650m above sea level, literally in the clouds. Then I ascend up the mountain, nearly crawling on tree roots, still damp from the morning dew. A bit further on I passed by some tea plantations. Taiwan produces some of the best tea in the world, particularly when it is grown at this altitude and above. I come across a rare spieces of local bird, and finally arrive at this serene part of the forest. The tranquility here really makes one forget about all their worries. I hope you enjoy my video.
