First Steemit, Barely Made It
This is my first post to Steemit. I signed up for this account almost six months ago and had no idea what I stepped into. Right now, I’m afraid I may be logged out and that my account is lost forever. I hope I’m wrong.
30 minutes later
I was, in fact, logged out. When I finished writing the first half of this post, the option to post was not available. I could not remember my username but I had my password, getting into to my account should be a breeze, right? Wrong! I did multiple searches, clicked a lot of useless links and wasted time watching YouTube videos on how to get back in. None of these things worked.
You may be wondering how I am here; the answer is, I was lucky enough to have found my username screenshot in my phone.
Moral of this story: Don’t lose your login info. There is no easy way back in but at least you know your STEEM is secure.
