The San Diego You'll Never See

Because of disrespectful vandals and destruction of natural landscapes you can no longer walk along the Adobe Creek in San Diego and see the only year round waterfall in our county.

San Diego is a desert climate with very little natural water. Much of our water comes from large reservoirs like Lake Murray near La Mesa, California ...

So seeing a natural waterfall like the Adobe Falls is a rare treat. Unfortunately the Falls are heavily vandalized and filled with litter as you can see from this amazing music video on youtube ...

It's a terrible shame that our beautiful landscapes must be destroyed in this way.

It's time to treat our world better. It is everyone's responsibility to care for the Earth. Recycle, Re-use, Reduce your waste.

In the near future @psyonicphoenix and I will be working on a journey into sustainable living which we will be documenting here on Steemit. Stay tuned and follow for more.

If you have hidden places to share, please use the tag #hiddenplaces I will be looking at the tag and resteeming gems as well as encouraging upvotes.

It really is. I'm considering contacting the university to get permission to take a pressure washer down there with a cleanup crew to restore the falls. The project would likely cost me about $2500 that I don't have though.

Someone played Adobe Photoshop with Adobe Falls...
THX for showing us these hidden gems.

Too many people did ... it's very sad
I will continue seeking out the gems to share with the world. Especially since I have connections to access some points people can't often go.
