I've been here a week and there's a fairly steep learning curve.
I'd recommend searching for good content and leaving thoughtful comments.
At our level, it looks like we can upvote as much as we like (later on, we'll probably need to limit ourselves so that our upvotes are worth something).
When you make a (longer) post, you should mention @originalworks so that you can get an upvote from them that's currently worth $0.03 (it's a start).
Help people to get to know you. This will be important for gaining a following, which will pay off later.
