I wish steem inc would do posts that explained things a bit better like you have in this post great post vs. the almost just trust me approach.

For what its worth I say thanks to those who put in all the hours with mostly no recognition and mainly complaint - coding something is one thing, getting it bug free and running super smooth and available is another.

I wish developers would help themselves by explaining a little more what they are aiming to fix, and then within a reasonable time frame, reporting how well they went.

When we set objectives they should be measurable. For example, this update will improve retention by 10% in 3 months. Show the stats before and after and confidently engage the community with evidence and explanation on the effort, result to see it was 'worth it' and demonstrate improvements.
