Did the witnesses decide to put the EIP in HF21? Or did @steemitblog change its post after you read it? It says the EIP might be included in a future fork.

Our hope with the EIP is just to highlight the conversation so that the Steem community has time to come to a consensus about whether they want these changes, and what they feel is the best timing as far as including the changes in a future hardfork.

Your argument here is: "We need to do something. And this is something."

You forget that it's a miracle that Steem sort of works.
