Hybrid Stainless Steel cookware

Hexclad is one brand that creates a cookware that is stainless steel (hence able to use metal utensils, etv on it)... and yet maintain a non-stick feature usually found with Teflon technology

On their website, they describe the non-stick feature is created by the pattern on the pan, creating valleys that utilize vapor to hold the food above the material.

Hexclad is not the only manufacturer that seems to tout this tech.

Look at this Taiwanese programme, that talks about a similar pan (this time with 7 layers).. the pan has similar pattern etched on the surface

on Amazon, there are also other brands like Potinv, NARCE that offers similar tech.
