Augrabies: Lizards everywhere
You get some loner males...
...just chilling, by themselves on a rock...
Some loner females, chilling on a log...
...and then you get the mixed hordes...
...all squabbling beneath a tree dropping fruit...
Waiting at the base for the next fruit to drop....
...and when it does someone gobbles it up...
...but who's to say you can't catch some sun with your girlfriend while you wait...
There was even a low melanin female in the group sporting much lighter colours.
These are Broadley's Flat Lizard (Platysaurus broadleyi)

In my land Corrientes we call them Teyu, the two colors are called teyu Taragui loas two images below are teyu are varieties that according to the edition can reach more than one meter, the images of the medium are the most common.
This is a very well-behaved animal, there is even a legend that is called Teyu Yagua.
