Traian Vuia was born on 17th August in Caraş-Severin county. He was a pioneer Romanian inventor of in aviation world. On 18th March 1906, he made his first self-propelled flight (without catapults) with a heavier device than the air.
Vuia proves since he attended primary and then secondary school, an irresistible attraction and a predilection for applied mechanics and physics. At ten years he witnessed the first aviation manifestations, and little Vuia develops a passion for kites.
He carefully follows their details and tries to build more refined ones. When he arrives at high school, Vuia acquires physical and mechanical notions, and he no longer wants to build kites, but tries to explain what is happening around the device, the forces that act to launch and keep it in the air & balance conditions.
"I am not working for my personal glory but for the glory of the human genius."
Many newspapers from France, United States and United Kingdom have written about the first person to fly a heavier than air-powered device, equipped with their own take-off, propulsion, and landing systems. Since then, the idea has been highlighted and propagated that Vuia has managed to take off his device from a flat surface, using only his own tools.
thank you for sharing my friend,
history should be in the memory, not to forget it, because of the knowledge of the ancients then we can be as it is today, sometimes history must be made in posting so we are not lulled and awakened from dreams that drift right.
we must be grateful to those inventor if they did not try it to make this thing before. what will happen to us , all the idea of the new generation is came from the work of scientist inventor before. thanks for sharing sir @jwolf
People are amazing and interestingly they're every corner of the world.
Good post. Steem On!

@jwolf very valuable informations about inventions of great "Traian Vuia"
these are golden and historic lines.
thanks for sharing. love your article.
If it wasn't for Traian, the aviation industry would not be what it is today. It's incredible that he did all of that with his own tools though.
Inventors at their finest!
You are right.
Great post man, Finally someone sharing our Romanian geniuses, and there are many more like Aurel Vlaicu, Eminescu, Justin Capră, etc etc.
I think you should start a series on wich you share their story with the community.
That's what I am doing now man! This series will never end!
