Status quo of HERO ICO

HEROcoin ICO is running since 2 weeks now and had made some nice progress.
I will bring you up to date what happened the last two weeks.

Contribution rate

After two weeks we are staying at roughly 4600 ETH out of 48k (hard cap)
HEROcoin was able to raise ~$500k within the first 30 minutes which is quite a lot of money. My personal expectation, however, was a quick sold out within a few hours which didn’t happen.

After the first 3 hours, the contribution rate declined a little bit but didn’t end at all. Today we can say that around 40-50 ETH come in, per day. Not a massive number but very steadily.
Investors, however, shouldn’t be worried since the soft cap was $500k, so further development and existence of the company is ensured.

News about HERO

• Secondly, we can say that HERO will be most likely tradeable on HitBTC, YObit, and Liqui after the ICO.
  I am aware that those exchanges are not the best and most liked ones but at least it is a good starting point.
  Many other ICO's starts trading on EtherDelta which is much worse 😉
  Please note that nothing is officially announced so far but the team is very close to doing so.

• Last and most important to most of you.
  HERO decided to burn all unsold Tokens and the equal percentage of the companies share
  e.g. from the 600 million Tokens which are up for sale “only” 60 million are sold than the remaining 540 million will be burned.
  From the 1.4 billion which remains in the company 1.26 billion will be also burned. This leads to a massive decrease of total supply from 2 billion to 200 million Tokens. The effect on the price per Token is hard to predict but an increase is very likely. So, I recommend you to join during ICO and not afterward 😉

How to participate?

Easy as that just follow one of the links below

Please note that if you are using Myetherwallet (which I highly recommend you) your Tokens may not be shown because MEW made a mistake with the address of the default PLAY Token.
You can add a custom Token manually with PLAY1 (or any name you like) – afterward, your balance should be shown correct. You find a guideline how to add the Tokens here.

[Update, 4th october] This issue is resolved and everything should work now!

If you want to check your balance on ethplorer or the like you should know that you can’t find your Token balance because they were sent after the ICO. If your transaction went through you are fine and will receive it 100%. We hope for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Also, please only contribute through the official Website! It is the only place where you get the Tokens.
Please never follow any links which you get on Slack or via Mail, unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers around. If you have any doubt please contact me or one of the core team – we are happy to support you as much as we can.

HERO is a long-term project and therefore you need some patience.
The team is very responsive and transparent and will announce news regularly and immediately.
