That's a big deal for me. I haven't been getting out into society much lately (and by lately I mean the last 3 years). I've been loving the Hermit life. Protecting my energy feels good after many years of being forced to be around a lot of people through various jobs, and all the running around...society drains me.
Brendan @hendrix22 surprised me early in the day Thursday by coming home and taking me out to lunch. I picked "John's Lunch" as our spot. It's all the way in Dartmouth (which is even further than Halifax) yet the place has won awards for its food. Very inexpensive, totally small and run down looking building, and the best damn seafood you'll ever have.

Unfortunately the snow wouldn't hold the tree up for them, so they went and got a rain barrel to be the tree's new stand. Good job boys!

It's so great that we live just down the road from each other...ahhh...don't even have to leave the bay. We had taco night and played rummoli afterwards with the kids. Marion's gonna be leaving on a trip soon, sniff sniff, we had to get together before she's gone to Ontario.

A beautiful one. I can see you had a 'city-ful' swell time, it's good you visit once in a while but city life sucks. We went to an Asian grocery store and bought some spicy ramen, went to the movies and saw Annihilation, went to The Fickle Frog and had some food, then the grocery store :) Busy afternoon! Twas a nice time :)
