My Amazing Journey @ Henna Con 2018!
Henna Con is the most important Henna Conference in the world. It's an annual educational event for natural henna artists, and this year I have had the amazing opportunity to attend and learn from some of the best henna artists in the whole world, including Darcy Vasudev , Joey Anderson , Krunal Tailor , Jessica Mc Queen , among others. Also the organization ICNHA International Certification for Natural Henna Artists was present at the event, for the 2nd year, certifying artists as natural henna artists, I took the test last year and by taking it you will prove that you am keeping your own organic henna paste, know your skills, are professional and educate your community into the use of natural, safe body art.

My work at Henna Con
Everytime I go to Henna Con I grow so much as an artist. The inspiration starts from seeing a lot of amazing artists working together for mutual success.
Jagua Design, by me !
My friends working on me!
A whole weekend of taking classes, but also giving and receiving henna, creating connections and lifetime memories.
A lot of good friends spoiled me with some amazing art, and I feel so blessed!!!
Sage Cox @hennabysage working on me, my right foot was decorated by Margarita Limas @pureorganichenna
For someone who always does henna on herself, I was so honored to recieve henna from other artists. It feels so relaxing!
Best Henna Classes!
One of the classes I've enjoyed the most was "Realistic Portraits" by Penni Al Zayer @thehennafaerie. Penni is an amazing artist who inspires me so much and her classes are always so dynamic, she really makes us work hard and teaches us with joy and
Penni has been working a lot with jagua, a fruit that has a natural blue dye, and like henna can dye the skin from one to three weeks!
Penni's work is truly breathtaking
Lifetime Friendships & Memories
This is probably one of the most exciting part of being a henna artist: the community!
With my dear friend Mishelle @moonchildmehndi
Doing mehndi on someone is a way of connecting with someone spirituality, it's more than just drawing on someone, there's a subtle level of trust and connection that is energetically being exchanged between the giver and the receiver of this beautiful and ancient art form.
With the lovely [Lizz Beth @
While at henna con it's very easy to connect with other artists and to make friends, this has been my 3rd year attending Henna Con, and on top of my regular Amigas, each year I make a new friend. The memories that we create at Henna Con are forever treasured in my heart and I feel SO blessed to have been able to attend once again to this wonderful convention!!!
Thanks so much for reading !

Hi @danilamarilu, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I noticed that @mehndikajoeyhenna and @hennacaravan don't exist on Steem. Maybe you made some typos ?
