HENNA ART (MEHENDI)

Today I am Going to tell you guys something about Henna Mehendi.
It is also Known as temporary Tattoo in the world. It is made up of plants named as Henna. Leaves of that plant are dried first and then made into powder so that it can be made into a paste to apply to the human body. It was firstly used in India and afterward, it became a tradition to apply a Mehendi on hand and feet by Indian women in a Hindu wedding, Karvachaut, Diwali, Vai Dhuj etc. Hence the influence of India was on Nepal too and it's been more than a few year our country's girl and women are also carrying out this tradition.

The process of staining your hand by a beautiful art design is so appealing that every Nepali girls and woman making a Henna design on their feet and hand.In Nepal, the month of Shrawan when most of the Nepali girl and women take fast for Lord Shiva In a wish for the long life of their husband by the married Women or wish for a better husband in future by an unmarried girl. They are these days seen applying Mehendi on their hand and feet. On the occasion of the marriage ceremony and Teej also it is applied on women's hand.

I also applied Mehendi like most of the Nepali girl last Shrawan Month to make my hand Look Beautiful ;) Here I'm going to post some of my own hand's pictures. Of course, I had my Friend to help me out to take this picture. So, Picture credit goes to my friend. :)
