Step 2 login to your new bittrex account and go to the wallet then tpye in steem as shown below. Please note SBD is for steemdollars and steem is for steem. Always make sure you select whats correct for you ie steemdollars or steem.
step3.Now click the + button either steemdolar or steem and a box will appear, now copy that memo as shown below
step 4. now go to your steemit wallet, just do as below
step 5
Next you will see this screen, click transfer as shown below.
step 6
This box will appear now like shown below, just type bittrex in the to box and paste in your bitrex memo like below and your funds will sent to bittrex to echange for btc, steem, ltc, eth or any other crypto.

It took me a while to work it out myself how to exchange and get this guide done :) worth the effort.
I wanted to see if it worked and it does this is my own guide and photos. I was going to do one for exchanging to poloniex exchange but see many people moaning about there exchange. I have always found polo to be good.

Make sure that you have a secure bitcoin wallet when you buy BTC and if you're planning on holding your bitcoin for a while, consider taking the BTC offline for safe keeping!
Happy Trading!
