Any Ideas Whats Going On With Steemit Rewards?
Hello! I was looking all over online for the answer for this, but I can't quiet find it. I have noticed that when my posts have been triggering after a certain point, their value drops at the exact time when they are paid out. I first started noticing that my posts that were higher, were coming down and I thought at first that it was something else, but I noticed that it is happening as a result of being paid out...not being flagged or the price of steem falling... check it out...
As you can tell from the captures, the payout would have originally been $38.87 on the first post and went down to $30.35.
On the 2nd post, it was originally going to be $35.37 which went down to $27.73.
I get that half is paid in SBD and the other in SP. I also get that a portion of the post also goes towards curation, but what doesn't make sense is that drop in initial value immediately upon being paid out. Can anyone provide some insight?
Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Price of steem going down makes most sense...but I'm not positive. Let us know what you find
I bet it has something to do with the hard fork or the amount of upvotes posts get in a set time.... I am still fishing right now for answers

Yes, I understand this, but that doesn't explain why only the post that is paying out drops suddenly. The rest of the posts stay the same while the post that pays out...the minute of, drops like 7 bucks!
The value of steem on the crypto market is slipping, thats all... bitcoin and many other coins have been falling lately aswell.
i think it's something else because it isnt dropping all of the posts. Im not sure
i unno cause all of my posts have went down by a few cents over the last few days gradually. and my bitcoin took a large drop aswell as my monero and bytecoin etc, cryptos are kinda in a bloodbath right now, up and down.
