When I go to the wallet in my account, I come across this 106 STEEM in the STEEM Power. Does anyone know why it shows that? Is it part of my account? Thanks in Advance.

I am new to STEEM also but I see a similar balance in my account. I believe it will be added to my account over a period (my guess is 13 weeks) I am in this for the long term, so it doesn't matter if it takes a long time.
Someone delegated you this steem power so your votes are worht more and you probably get some curation rewards. :)

Your own steem power? Yes you can power it down if you want - not a great idea though. :)
